Disabled access

The Arboretum & Gardens are mainly flat with good wheel chair, mobility scooter and pushchair access through out much of the area.

The Italian Garden, Orchard, Walled Garden and 2 inner paths of the Arboretum are slabbed, and provide a suitable surface for most wheel chairs and scooters. This will allow you to enjoy many of our wonderful specimen trees and gardens.  (Please note the flag stones in the Arboretum have been laid for many years and can be undulating and slippery when wet).

You can also enjoy:

• Free blue badge parking directly outside the Arboretum Entrance
• Easy access into the Garden Tearoom
• A separate, spacious, accessible toilet
• Free admission for an accompanying adult or carer
